Tragedy strikes the hometown of internet sensation "Chameleon," forcing his local fanbase to confront the legacy of who they idolize. Longtime fan Eli begins to lose himself in a fan fiction written by his classmate Anthony, whose life begins to unravel after the disappearance of his best friend.
