Bog vojny

Efim Dzigan's film is dedicated to anti-religious propaganda: in the film he talks about the role of clergy in the First World War. The main character, soldier Gregory, saw how regimental officers and priests called on the people to “defend the Fatherland” and drove soldiers to their death. Realizing what was happening, he changed his attitude towards faith. His wife Natasha, a nurse on one of the ambulance trains, also broke with religion.
