Mallory, a documentary filmmaker, and her boyfriend Alex go on a vacation to a remote, rustic cabin in the woods to celebrate Alex’s 30th birthday. Alex suffers from parasomnia, and Mallory believes some time to disconnect is what the couple needs. Mallory packs her camera so she can document Alex’s episodes while they’re away - a request made by Alex’s sleep therapist to better diagnose his disorder.
