An aching and sensual coming-of-age story set in Salida, Colorado: a small town on the Arkansas River shielded by 14,000 ft mountains. One night, Smith sneaks out of his house to meet a sophisticated older man named Mateo, and the two begin a summer affair that dreamily flows out of sequence like a murky watercolor memory.
